Faces and Figures

  I have drawn faces and figures ever since I can remember. The realization that wrong is right in art and that creation has no limit leads to infinite possibilities. Perhaps an atavistic urge to connect with the spiritual world gives me purpose in life. I become part of the canvas and in faces and figures I see the souls of those models or perhaps my own soul,propelling me me to spend hours drawing, painting, creating and experimenting and improvising…Improvisation is for me the ultimate challenge. It is ingenuity, resourcefulness, creativity, imagination, invention, and initiative rolled into one big improvisation.
